Introduction of STRANDS

WHY YOU NEED TO CHOOSE A STRAND THAT SUITS ON YOUR COURSE.

 

For the incoming Senior high school students, there are 4 different strands that you can choose. Each strand has their own unique and interesting subjects.if the course that you are going to take is more on journalism, education and  other social science - related course then you should take HUMSS . And if the course that you are about to take is most likely focused on science technology - related course then you should take STEM and for accountancy, business administration, marketing then you should take ABM as your strand.

                  

I chose STEM because the course that I'm going to take is aeronautics but that's not the whole reason why i chose stem as my strand because for me STEM is more flexible than any other strands like HUMSS,ABM and GAS. choosing STEM as your strand doesn't mean you're smart, Choosing this strand because, yes they can help you get a better job, but they also help us grasp what it means to be a human and lives a good life

THERE ARE 3 BLOCKS in STEM THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE.

 

STEM 1

STEM 1 is for those who are going to take engineering course

STEM  2

 

STEM 2 is for those who are going to take nursing and medicine course

STEM 3

STEM 3 is for those who are going to choose IT courses

Don't worry if you chosen the wrong block because every subject in every block are the same but stem 2 has a different subject but the rest are the same.This why STEM is good to choose as your strand because there are multiple career paths, and there's a lot of opportunities if you want to choose a job that includes engineering, science, technology and mathematics.
